The future is coming faster and faster. The growth of technology is exponential. With the exponential growth of technology comes exponential adoption. Marketers need to adapt and embrace these growth and adoption cycles.
Nothing has changed marketing and advertising more than technology. If we consider billboards, posters, newspapers, radio, TV, the Web…and now the mobile phone. Advertising and marketing has endured great transformations in recent history.
Now synthetic or virtual worlds are popping up. Places where millions of people are engaging in new methods of social interaction and social media consumption which include loads of advertising and marketing messaging.
Marketers need help navigating these new environments. They need expert advice and counsel about these new spaces. I established a consulting practice to provide that help. I have a deep spike in developing strategies for synthetic worlds. My other practice areas include social media, on-line communities, mobile applications and services, physical world connections, augmented reality, audience generated content, product development for digital utilities and a variety of futurism topics.
So, who am I?
My name is Jason Alan Snyder. I am a technologist, futurist, marketer and strategist. I have spent the last fifteen years working in advertising, marketing and media companies. I develop innovative strategies for products and services with the worlds largest brands, connecting their audiences to the people and things they care about. I also lecture and publish about technology innovation and the future.
