Jason Alan Snyder
About
Building systems that keep humans present, consenting, and capable of authorship.

Moral Architect — Co-Founder & CAIO, SuperTruth / Artists & Robots
Jason Alan Snyder is a moral architect, inventor, and writer working at the fault line between AI and human agency. He builds systems, companies, and frameworks designed to keep human beings present, consenting, and capable of authorship in a world increasingly optimized to remove them.
His thesis is not a prediction. It is a design principle: friction is the architecture of agency. Optimization extracts. Systems that remove friction without preserving presence quietly transfer power from people to machines, from authors to algorithms, from humans to infrastructure. Every automation decision either returns agency or takes it. He has spent three decades making that distinction operational.
He is co-founder of SuperTruth, consent-driven trust infrastructure for healthcare AI, built on the belief that data provenance and human dignity are inseparable. He is co-founder of Artists & Robots, a creative intelligence studio built on the premise that human imagination and machine intelligence are partners, not competitors. He chairs the 4A's AI Committee, speaks at the World Summit AI, the United Nations, and the Milken Institute, and is writing Human After Friction™, a manifesto arguing that the crisis of our time is not artificial intelligence replacing humans but optimization replacing authorship.

The Book
Human After Friction™
We were promised ease, but instead we got erasure. The crisis of our time is not artificial intelligence replacing humans. It is optimization replacing authorship.
A philosophical and practical manifesto for designing friction back into your life, work, and systems before meaning disappears entirely.
