Persuading Machines : Marketing Communications for Non-Human Intelligence
(44M)This PDF is a lecture I gave in October 2007 to advertising majors at the School of Communications of Temple University in Philadelphia. In this lecture, I discuss how, in the near term future, the students will need to learn to develop communications (primarily advertising and marketing messaging), for non-human intelligence. I cover topics such as the exponential growth and adoption of technology, current advances in robotics, the merger between biology and technology, the singularity, utility marketing, physical world connections and other contemporary forces pushing us towards more frequent communications and symbiosis with machines.
